Muffin-tin Beef pie with Soft Bread


Yesterday, I made this yummy snack, this pie is bite-size, easy to made. Underneath i put soft bread. The recipe made for 12-15 small muffin-tin size.

For bread:

For filling:
1 cup of minced beef
2 tbsp chilli sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 clove of garlic-peeled
1 yellow onion
1/2 inch ginger
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp coriander powder
a pinch of salt
a pinch of sugar
1/2 tbsp olive oil for pan

** chopped garlic, ginger and onion 

For topping:
2 medium potato - peeled and quartered length-wise
mozzarella cheese
black pepper
fresh tomato
fresh red chili

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until tender about 15-20 minutes; drain. Using a potato masher, roughly mash potatoes.
  • Heat the oil, add ingredients that we chopped, and cook at low heat about 5 minutes, add beef and cook over medium heat for about 6-7 minutes, add water and bring to boil, add chili and oyster sauce, sprinkle sugar, salt, peppers and powder, stir well. Cook about 3-5 minutes more.
  •  grease a muffin tin with olive oil(very little)
  • pinch a dough about quail egg-size, flatten and push into muffin-tin, made like a hole in the center
  • put sauce beef in the hole, cover it with mashed potato.
  • cut mozzarella in thin layer, put at the top of mashed potato, decorate with chili and tomato slices.
  • add mayonnaise and sprinkle black pepper at mayonnaise. Done.
  • Bake about 15-20 minutes for 160 Celsius.
